Sadia Jahan Prova was debuted in the showbiz world by Meril Beauty Soap commercial. That was highly appreciated and she did many more television commercials after that. She started acting in single episode dramas, serials and telefilms. She became a celebrity.

Shariatpur is her home district. Her father’s name is Mujibur Rahman and mother’s name, Kalpana Begum. She is the eldest daughter of her parents. She studied fashion designing from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology. She designs dress for herself and she wants to be a successful fashion designer in future. She doesn’t get enough time to read literature, but she reads Humayun Ahmed’s book so much.

A leaked video really embarrassed her when that was published by her ex boyfriend Rajib.  It was published when she married another popular television star Apurba. In fact a series of videos were released by her ex boyfriend, where she was seen fully naked and having showered, having sex with Rajib. It was not secretly shot and she willingly stood naked in front of camera. Prova and Apurba were divorced as a consequence.

That really embarrassed Bangladeshi showbiz community. Everyone condemned this matter. But Prova said, that was not only her fault and Rajib betrayed her by releasing that video.

Prova was so depressed and withdrawn herself from the media. She says only parents were with her at that time. She managed to recover the shock and came back strongly in the media after two years.

Kadombini Moria Proman Korilo Shey Morey Nai’ was the first television drama after the long absence. It was based on the story ‘Jibito O Mritio’  by Rabindranath Tagore.

Prova says, acting is her passion and she wants to continue. She married again and she says her husband always inspires her.
